How do I use this tool?

Choose a percentage discount, fixed basket discount or buy-X-get-Y offer. Enter the item price, quantity and costs. Include the cost of every item shipped, including gifts.

What should I check before using the result?

A fixed discount is deducted once from the item subtotal. Shipping charged to the customer is not discounted. Buy-and-get compares the same shipped quantity before and after the offer, and order-level costs apply once. Payment fees are recalculated using the resulting order revenue.

Worked example

With a price of 50 and a 20% item discount, revenue becomes 40. At product cost 15, shipping cost 5, advertising cost 10 and payment fees 2.9% plus 0.30, profit is 8.54.

50 × (1 - 20%) = 40; 40 - 15 - 5 - 10 - (40 × 2.9% + 0.30) = 8.54
